I'm listening to Kanye West and his latest album, Graduation. His soul beats, proud artistry and sometimes socially conscious lyrics --- it all gets me. I appreciate the man's talent.
I know you saw the Saturday Night Live skit with him - claiming entitlement to all the awards possible. They even showed him stealing the 'Biggest Pumpkin of the Year' award from some 12-year old. That was the parody, of course, on Kanye's 'I know I'm the best' mantra, that he made famous after the 2004? Album of the Year Award went to someone other than him.
In addition to the song I'm hearing, the recent reminder of Kanye's style was at the B-more wedding I was at a couple weeks ago. Homey the groom was wearing these Kanye specs.
