What I want from my readers

Instead of provoking the reader into a conversation, I think I will skip the part where I ask and enter the part where I answer myself.

What does the reader want to read? Exactly what I feel like talking about.
What subjects are most interesting? Los Angeles is a foriegn place; talk about yourself and the adventures there.

This kid of exercize is more interesting because, as I have been attempting to do for months, questions asked of others often directly mirror the questions a person has for themselves.

Now that that's out of the way, I think I'll list my day's activities and take detours if I feel it important/fun:

5:45 Begin blog
5:15 Complete rearranging cubicle (which I share with the Project Vote director and my colleague, Erin, a project vote researcher)

This is taking too long and no fun for me. In fact, I feel that it too closely relies on the truth; and no good writing comes directly from facts. We see that my major concern is for the quality of my writing. I'll try to avoid looking at myself during the posts here; my effort will be to glance at myself and my concerns before I engage the reader.

I need a pillow, twin bed sheets, and a silent flood light for the back yard. And toilet paper.
