Carl Jung

Carl Jung (pronounced "young") was a German psychiatrist and clinician who dabbled in various studies, including psychology, alchemy, sociology, and religion.

From a book I borrowed today from the public library, "Introduction to Jung's Psychology," I'm hoping to learn more about what he calls the individuation process, among other items.

Simple weekend planned: jogging tonight, festival tomorrow, cleaning and relaxing Sunday.

Dear Ben,

You should read "Modern Man in Search of a Soul" by Carl Jung. I've never read it, but I heard from my new friend Eric here at UVA that it is "life-changing".

Love,
Christina and Eric

You could also read the "power of myth" which is a conversation between Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers, which is pretty amazing, if you are into Jungian undertones.
