Cleaning House

After a while of letting the settings on my blog be, I went in and did a massive overhaul of privileges, pictorials, and personnel. I didn't want any more riff-raff on my homepage, so I told the idle contributors and the lame links to go.

All that cleaning up amounted to about 4 fewer links in the right margin ---->>

But that's not all the cleaning goin' on. I spent about an hour last night washing my room's windows. They were dirty and I damn near fell out of the window frame trying to reach for a outside corner.

This weekend, I'm hoping to get some film developed. No, I don't have a fancy-pants digital camera; but I do have a disposable camera that can give a high-pitched ring when the flash is ready. A few of the pictures I hope to see once the roll is developed:

1. Snausages in a suit
2. Boston fireworks
3. Paint over graffiti in my hood
4. Before and After on my windows
5. Some mo' shit

Housing and Smog

The need for affordable housing is huge. This Daily News article draws attention to that.

A Los Angeles neighbor to the south, Orange County, has an equally ludicrous problem with affordable housing. This LA Times article talks about what the community is doing to stem the crisis.

ACORN made a ruckus today but I have seen/heard no articles yet. I would appreciate it if you posted a comment with the link when you find one. Thanks.

p.s. I do. Cause I got to walk around the City Hall viewing tower this morning - I was there with hundreds of affordable housing advocates. And the rumors are true: LA lacks affordable housing and it looks as smoggy as its reported to be. See my alternative labels below the diagram:
