what have i been doing?

I ask this question "what have i been doing?" in kind of an exasperated way cause i haven't blogged in so long. i'm nearing 3 and a half years as a blogger; and this feels like the weakest stretch of posts in a long while.

My two series on the championship trophy and "i'm an uncle" were exciting. but otherwise, i haven't had much news to share... new year's party, mlk weekend, valentine's, president's day, it all came and went.

Lily turns 1 today, so here's a picture of me reading to her. side note: lily's name is partially borrowed from my sister's name, lelia (in the middle)...
