Lilies

Saturday blog is a rare treat. Just having free time on a Saturday - no plans until 2 - is the rarity.

So I biked to Home Depot with mystery hawks-game-giveaway gift cards. And I'm picking out Lilies... Ideally I'll plant a dozen or so, bringing them from bulb stage to blooming life.

Then, I could gift them to friends and family (emphasis on family) for holidays (ie Lily's birthday). Though, now that I think about the season she was born in (late February) the flowers may not be blooming that time of year :(

Still, wouldn't it be nice to give a different variety on the same gift every year... Different color/kind of Lily?
