Photo #1: Looking behind us before getting to the Silver area gates, here is an idea of what we walked through to get to the Mall. 

Photo #2: In front of us... the ticket-checking process that police officers conducted for the Silver section. "Everyone hold up your ticket!"

If this was how the all ticketed areas were being checked its no surprise that people with tickets didn't get in. Cause people without tickets easily could have packed the area and gotten through. I could have lost my piece of paper (Katie actually did, but found it ten seconds later) but still gotten in. And any forged ticket would certainly have passed the test the officer gave to see who had tickets. (understandably, for the Purple section, this created havoc)
